The surgery was very quick, simple, and painless. Recover time was so short that I was expecting more discomfort and obscured vision beyond the actual recovery period. I experienced no pain at any point during or following the surgery. I don't think I really needed the pain pill Dr. Caster gave me immediately following the surgery. I didn't think I needed the valium prior to the surgery either, but my wife would disagree.

I'm amazed at how quickly I regained such good vision following the procedure. I still get confused whether I have my contacts on. I'm hoping for ever more improvements as the weeks and months go by.
